Malaysia e-Invoice Readiness Workflow Kit — BM + English
Ten editable files that turn e-Invoice preparation into a repeatable internal workflow
You know Malaysia's e-Invoice requirements exist and someone has been told to handle it. What you do not have is a process. This kit is ten editable working files — readiness checklist, workflow map, data collection templates, BM and English request messages, an internal SOP and an implementation tracker — that turn scattered notes into one repeatable internal workflow. It is organisation, not software: HASiL provides MyInvois itself.
What you get
- 01 Start Here — scope check and a quick-start sequence you can finish in an afternoon
- 02 Readiness Checklist — 32 rows across scope, people, data, process, systems and go-live
- 03 Workflow Map — the end-to-end flow, written as steps you assign a name to
- 04 Data Collection Template — the customer and supplier fields to gather, in one sheet
- 05 Info Request Templates — ready-to-send Bahasa Malaysia and English emails and chasers
- 06 Internal SOP Template — a two-page procedure to customise and hand to your team
- 07 Implementation Tracker — task, owner, status, due date, blocker; 16 tasks pre-filled
- 08 MyInvois Action Checklist — choosing your submission route, access and go-live steps
- 09 Common Mistakes Checklist — 24 operational traps, with tick-boxes
- 10 Official Reference List — the HASiL sources, with version numbers and dates
This is for you if
- · Malaysian businesses subject to e-Invoice requirements that still need an internal process
- · Businesses in the up-to-RM5 million band, mandatory since 1 January 2026
- · The owner, admin lead or ops person handed the task without being a tax specialist
- · Teams whose customer and supplier details live across spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads
Not a fit if
- × Businesses with annual turnover or revenue under RM1,000,000 — HASiL currently exempts you, so do not buy this for mandatory implementation. The templates may still help you tidy your records, but you are not under an obligation right now.
- × Anyone looking for software that submits invoices — this is an organisation kit, not a tool
- × Anyone wanting tax, legal or accounting advice — verify with HASiL or your adviser
- × Anyone expecting guaranteed compliance — nobody can promise that on your behalf
Before you buy
Is this official, or endorsed by HASiL?
No. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by HASiL / Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia. The kit points you to the current official documents by version and date so you always read the real thing.
Do I need this if my turnover is under RM1 million?
Probably not, for mandatory implementation. HASiL's published timeline currently exempts annual turnover or revenue under RM1,000,000. The first page of the kit walks you through that check before anything else.
Does this submit invoices for me?
No. HASiL provides the MyInvois Portal and you do not pay us, or anyone, for access to it. This kit organises the preparation around it — the data, the people, the internal steps and the tracking.
What formats are the files?
Spreadsheets are .csv, which open directly in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice. Documents are .md, which open in any text editor and paste cleanly into Word or Google Docs. Everything is editable.
How current is the regulatory information?
Verified against official HASiL sources on 09 Aug 2026. Every regulatory statement is dated and sourced so you can check it yourself. Requirements change — the kit tells you where to look rather than asking you to trust a downloaded file.
